CALLING ALL COOKIE BAKERS

St John the Baptist Italian Festival needs your help. Our resident Italian ladies of the church are dwindling in number and energy. Last year the ladies were only able to make enough to sell through Saturday at noon. We need to make two or three times that many cookies.

TRADITIONAL ITALIAN COOKIES NEEDED

Do you have a pizzelle maker? We could really use pizzelles and biscotti. SIGN UP TODAY!

  • Pizzelles – Anise, Lemon, Lemon-Anise, Vanilla or Chocolate flavors only Biscotti – Almond, Classic, Anise, Chocolate, with nuts or without nuts.
  • Non-traditional Italian cookies or flavors do not sell well, and anything with real chocolate melts quickly in the hot sun. If you bake gluten-free cookies we do get some requests for them, so they are welcome.

CONTAINER PICK UP

We have small containers for pizzelles and larger ones for biscotti. 10-12 cookies fit per container. Pick up plastic containers for cookies after mass any Sunday at 10:30 am in Sala Hall. St John the Baptist Church 720 Hamlet St Columbus, OH 43215. The last Sunday to pick up containers would be October 2.
